position may not be an absolute surprise as it is something that has
happened before; it is the viewership that will shock you. Inspite of
getting an impressive 2.4 points, the show falls on the list and the
reason will soon be unveiled.
Amidst all the fiction juggernauts, Dance Plus 3 has managed to stay on this list where it maintains the 9th spot just like last week but experiences a rise in viewership, where it garners 2.4 points.
I am absolutely certain that in the past one year and plus, Kumkum Bhagya has never seen the 8th spot ever. But it has happened this time as the show has witnessed a historic fall even though it fetched a decent viewership of 2.5 points.
The same goes with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where it hasn't seen the below-half of the list too often in the past few months. However, it also drops down to the 7th spot fetching 2.6 points.
It's a bittersweet moment of sorts for Kundali Bhagya this week. While it can rejoice that it has now become the first spin-off show in India to surpass the viewership of its parent show going to grab 2.7 points; it has also witnessed an unfortunate drop in the list to 6th spot.
Probably the biggest surprise of the year, I can say. Fear Files made a comeback to Zee TV 10 days ago with a new season after having two seasons to succeed. But, very few would have predicted about the show making it to the top 5 in the first week itself. The show enters at the 5th spot with an impressive viewership of 2.8 points giving Zee TV channel another show to count upon when it comes to the numbers.
Some shows never age albeit they complete an unbelievable 9 years. Yes, even after completing a span of 9 years a few days ago, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah continues to be strong fetching amazing numbers of 2.8 points and rising to the 4th spot.
Another new entrant makes it to the top 5 right away. Colors much-awaited show, Mahakaali: Anth Hi Aarambh Hai did not disappoint and while it has been receiving rave reviews, it has also garnered the numbers. The show went on to collect an amazing 2.9 points entering the list at the 3rd spot.
We kept talking about how the on-going season of Khatron Ke Khiladi will certainly be one to look out for, owing to the alluring line-up of celebrities. And it has lived up to the same as we talk about the numbers. Khatron Ke Khiladi: Pain In Spain makes a roaring debut in the rating list going on to yield a staggering 3.3 points, standing tall at the 2nd spot. This also means that it is the only 2nd reality show in the list apart from Dance Plus 3.
The leader has been the same for several weeks now and this time too, it did not witness any change. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs 2017 not only continued to be at the 1st position but also rose in viewership grabbing 3.8 points.
